The purpose of the Financial Support Group is to provide Biblical guidance and wisdom with Christian support and encouragement in a variety of financial areas through group and individual counseling, Bible class studies, and seminars. Finances can be a source of burdens for all of us – but these burdens can be overcome and peace can prevail. “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, NASB). It’s not about gaining financial independence, but rather gaining contentment through a more complete understanding of God’s promise: “Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,” (Hebrews 13:5, NASB).
