6:2 Ministries
We live among hurting people, sometimes they stare back at us from the mirror. The struggles of life and consequences can shatter our faith and leave us with too many questions. How can I go on? Where do I turn? Do I run to God, or do I even need God?
Most of us have been here or somewhere that looks very similar. For those of us who have not, just wait – the day is coming that will leave you on your knees asking these dark and lonely questions.
Jesus gave a command to his disciples in John 13:34: “Love one another as I have loved you.” In Galatians 6:2 he tells us how to do it. “Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
The 6:2 Ministry is an attempt to organize how we as Christians help one another and fulfill the vision God has for his people.
The ministry is not just for those battling current struggles. It is also a place for those who have overcome similar struggles and are willing to lend an ear, give advice or offer love and support just as Christ did.
The people at the Estes Church of Christ beg you not to make your walk alone. The most difficult of journeys can be made easier with people who love and support you.
