Welcome to Henderson and FHU.

We’re glad you’re here. You are beginning an incredible journey. It will be filled with great days and awful days. You are going to feel excited and invincible and scared and alone and all sorts of messy emotions while on this journey. That’s ok. We are all on some sort of journey. The people at Estes are praying for you. Let us know how we can help.

Ministering to university students is an important part of our work at Estes Church of Christ. The college years are an opportunity to build life-long faith, and we want to do everything we can to help you develop and sustain a faith that will launch you into your future.

University students have a meaningful role at Estes and are viewed as important members of the congregation. We want to be your church “home away from home” while you are working on your education. We want you to be a part of the Estes family.

Sunday morning class

A college class meets in the basement fellowship room, and students are also invited to participate in the auditorium class or various other classes. 9:30 AM

Wednesday evening class

The Wednesday evening college class meets in the auditorium, and other classes are always open to our college students. 7:00 PM

Other ways to get involved

• Teach in our children’s ministry
• Attend or assist with worship services at local nursing homes and rehab centers
• Volunteer with our disaster relief team
• Assist with the Estes Hispanic ministry
